Lore
Old legends tell of kings and heroes laid to rest alongside their servants, so the servants might wait on their masters beyond death. In the ruins I came across horrors that suggest those stories hold truth. The thing I fought was neither alive nor dead. I am certain it was once a warrior, a guardian of someone or something — but it shed the last of its humanity long ago.
