Overview
Iorgu is a great thinker. He poses himself all manner of questions — what a rainbow might be? Can mice truly emerge from rotting hay? Why do clouds drift? — and Coen doubts he genuinely seeks the answers. He simply asks for the delight of it.
That does not make him an idle layabout. He keeps plenty of livestock, so labour from dawn till dusk is unavoidable — but he does not appear to mind.
