Collector's Notes

These notes trace a collector's fixation on a pendant in Vicho's curio shop. Convinced Vicho only pretended to fear it was cursed because he wanted to keep it, the writer pestered the shopkeeper until he finally sold the bauble — at a hefty price.

After a full day of inspecting every crevice, the collector felt the earth briefly shake beneath his feet. Shaken, he now wonders whether Vicho had been telling the truth after all, and resolves to look into the matter further.
