Diary

This diary of a hapless bandit reads like a litany of woe: damp and cold with awful food — lost at cards; then rain, cold, even worse food — lost at cards. A bright yet still chilly day, cooking for himself — lost at cards. Then a bout of violent diarrhoea — and lost at cards — plus a bleak wonder whether things can possibly get any worse.
