Goodbye Note

A son writes to his father, full of sorrow: things might have ended differently had he returned sooner — had Predbor survived a few weeks more in his keeping. A new knyaz holds power now, one who cures all sickness, plague included; his rule is imperfect and demands sacrifices — yet the son would gladly make them all to have his father back.

He simply misses him. Rest in peace, Predbor.
