Legend About a Greedy Boy

A poor Svartrau boy, forever scavenging for scraps, wanders into a ruined building and finds a crumbling wall that gives way onto a forgotten passage.

Beyond sprawls an enormous old labyrinth aglitter with riches — yet every prize he seizes is discarded for a grander one: bronze goblet traded for silver plate, plate swapped for golden vase, and on it goes.

They say the greedy boy still roams the ruins under Svartrau, forever finding treasures yet always craving one more valuable than the last.
