Soaked Letter

Writing to her dearest Boris, Teresina confesses she cannot endure it anymore —

another mass, another draining, and her mind will shatter. If he loves her, he must prove it:

find them somewhere safe to hide away, some place even the vrakhiri fear to tread. She will bear any hardship —

caves, bare floors, newts and bark — to live away from this madness; and she will not see him again

until he writes with a suitable place found.
