Momentum Effect

Momentum is an offensive gear effect that rolls on weapons in Minecraft Dungeons II. Each hit gains a chance to stagger the enemy, interrupting their attacks and leaving them vulnerable.

The stagger chance starts at 20% at tier I, climbs to 30% at tier II and 40% at tier III, and reaches 60% at the unique tier. Fast-hitting weapons trigger it constantly, while slow heavy weapons stagger more reliably per swing — either way, staggered enemies deal less damage to you because they spend more time reeling.

It is built into the Lunar Sickle melee weapon and the Rover Gaiters armor, and it can roll on weapons like the Battle Hammer, Mace, and Heavy Crossbow. Knockback Effect is its natural partner, shoving enemies back while Momentum staggers them, and Brawler Effect or Vanguard suit the same front-line playstyle.

Tiers follow the usual threat curve: tier I only below threat 3, tier III from threat 6, and tier III as common as tier II from threat 15. Rare weapons roll one effect and special weapons two.
