Ranger

Ranger is a rollable gear effect in Minecraft Dungeons II built for players who fight at a distance. It can roll as a bonus on weapons, armor, and artifacts, and — like every gear effect — it comes from the gear-roll system rather than the book-based Minecraft Dungeons II Enchanting Guide system. Bow and crossbow mains should treat this as one of their core damage effects, since its values are generous even at the low end.

The tier track is strong: 20 at tier I, 30 at tier II, and 40 at tier III, with Unique gear carrying it all the way to 60. Starting at 20 means even a low-tier roll pulls real weight, and the Unique version competes with the best damage effects in the game.

Effect slots are limited by rarity — common gear rolls none, rare gear rolls one, and special gear rolls two — so a Ranger roll has to earn its place. Its tier follows threat level: always tier I below threat 3, tier III possible from threat 6, and tier III as likely as tier II at threat 15. For a full archer setup, stack it with fellow ranged effects such as Marksman Effect, Sniper, and Sharpshooter.
