Powershaker (Status)

Powershaker is a positive status that turns your melee swings into detonations. While it is active, your melee attacks cause tiny explosions on hit, splashing damage around the point of impact.

The status is granted by the Powershaker gear piece, which shares its name. No enchantment is documented as applying it, so the gear is the only known source for players.

Powershaker excels against grouped enemies, where every swing's explosion catches extra targets — it effectively gives single-target melee weapons a taste of area damage. It combines well with crowd-focused enchantments such as Swirling Enchantment and Shockwave Enchantment, which add their own area damage and knockback to your attacks, turning you into a walking blast zone. Pair it with attack-speed buffs like Flurrying or Deathcap Mushroom to trigger more explosions per second. Against spread-out single targets the explosions add less, so treat Powershaker as a mob-clearing tool and switch tactics for lone bosses.
