Echoes of Heroes begins with the Bulgarian camp under Cataphract attack. Use the starting Monks to convert the attackers, then keep leveraging conversion against later Roman and Tatar waves.

Echoes of Heroes begins with the Bulgarian camp under Cataphract attack. Use the starting Monks to convert the attackers, then keep leveraging conversion against later Roman and Tatar waves.
Plan and execution
Convert the first two Cataphracts and use their armor against Roman Pikemen. Keep Kozma safe and use his range to reveal approaching groups; pigs near Ivaylo can scout when needed. Convert Roman Cataphracts during their attacks, then clear the Roman Infiltrators’ camp and add the Cataphracts found there. When Tatars raid, use Monks to recruit Keshiks and replenish the force without overproducing.
Risks and adaptation
Monks are central to the defense and must stay behind the fighting line. Keep Kozma alive and avoid letting converted cavalry wander into Pikemen without ranged support.
