Elite Elephant Archer: Elite Elephant Archers trade resource efficiency for a durable ranged body and strong population efficiency. They can anchor a late-game firing line that stays active through exchanges where ordinary archers would be removed more quickly.

Elite Elephant Archer: Elite Elephant Archers trade resource efficiency for a durable ranged body and strong population efficiency. They can anchor a late-game firing line that stays active through exchanges where ordinary archers would be removed more quickly.
Plan and execution
Use a screened formation that fires from behind infantry or cavalry and protects the archers from Pikemen and Monks. Bring the group to a chosen lane with siege support, and invest in the upgrades that improve its ranged performance before committing a large share of the population cap.
Risks and adaptation
A high hit-point pool does not make the unit cheap or equally damaging per resource. Pikemen and Monks remain dangerous, and a mass can still be out-traded by cheaper archers; avoid a large investment when the economy or population room is limited.
