Gold Rush map strategy
Gold Rush concentrates much of the map’s gold around a central region where hills and open approaches reward vision and coordinated control.

Overview
Gold Rush concentrates much of the map’s gold around a central region where hills and open approaches reward vision and coordinated control.
Plan and execution
Scout the central deposits before moving miners forward. Secure the approach with a mobile army, establish vision around the hills, and escort Villagers when opening a Gold Mine away from home. Expand onto the center after the army can hold the route, and use nearby relics as a supporting objective.
Risks and adaptation
Sending unprotected miners into the center invites raids, while fighting without vision gives up the elevation advantage. Keep a safe fallback gold source and rotate forces rather than stretching one group across every deposit.
