Overview

Hunted begins with Sundjata trapped in Niani. Escape through the ambush routes, gather willing warriors, and reach Kangaba before turning the pursuit into a base-building mission.

Plan and execution

Move Sundjata northwest as soon as control begins while the guards delay the attackers. Outside the city, add the Gaia Knights and Spearmen to the fleeing force. At the next ambush, focus the Scorpions before engaging the Long Swordsmen, then continue toward the loyal Cavalry Archers. Their route reveals Kangaba as a safe haven; use it to establish production and recover before choosing any further fight.

Risks and adaptation

Returning to Niani or provoking its defenders wastes the opening advantage. Keep Sundjata away from the frontline and do not let the Scorpions fire freely into the compact escort.
