Plan and execution
Use scouts or another unit to reveal the firing line, then send Sogdian Cataphracts around a flank to pressure Archers or exposed siege. Keep them moving between targets and return to the main army when the opponent builds a melee screen.
Risks and adaptation
Their cavalry role leaves them vulnerable to anti-cavalry units, and limited vision can lead them into an ambush. Do not send them blindly through a narrow approach.
