Szlachta Privileges lowers the cost of future Polish Knights, so research it before scaling production to receive the savings across the army. Use the discount to sustain pressure while monitoring the late-game unit quality tradeoff.
Plan and execution
If Knights are the planned Castle Age core, research Szlachta Privileges before creating a large wave, then keep multiple Stables active and use the saved gold to support upgrades or a second unit line. In longer games, transition toward a composition that can use the remaining gold efficiently and protect the Knights from ranged counters.
Risks and adaptation
The discount is not retroactive, so researching after producing the army wastes much of its value. Polish Cavaliers lack some late upgrades, so a lower cost does not make them as durable as a fully upgraded Paladin in every matchup.
