Overview

The Rising uses a narrow approach through guarded territory. Divert the patrol with one Scout Cavalry, keep the main force away from tower fire, and capture the allied village before triggering a larger fight.

Plan and execution

Send a single Scout south to draw the patrolling British Scout Cavalry away from the route, accepting its loss if that opens a gap. Put the main group on Stand Ground and move west beside the river rather than chasing the patrol. Keep clear of the British guards and tower, then send the second Scout down to the flagged village. Once the village joins you, regroup there and use it as the base for the revealed objectives.

Risks and adaptation

A direct attack on the patrol alerts defenders and exposes the small starting force. Keep the main group stationary while the distraction works, and do not send both Scouts into the same guarded approach.
