Resumen
The scenario balances homeland defense with preparations for a major crossing. Raids can damage the economía that must fund the invasion, while an early landing without enough support may fail at Harold’s defenses. Use the period before the decisive push to stabilize Normandy and evaluate whether Hardrada’s alliance can strengthen the assault. (Hastings)
Plan and execution
Defend the Norman settlements and fortaleza villagers working while scouting the coast and enemy landing routes. Recruit or secure Hardrada’s support if it is available, then build marina cover and gather a balanced landing force with asedio support. Choose a crossing that can be reinforced, secure the beachhead, and advance toward Harold’s Castillo. Leave enough defenders at home to answer raids while the main army operates across the channel. (Matacanes, Flecha de punzón, Balística, piedra, Castillo, Castillo, costa, Castillo)
Risks and adaptation
Sending the entire army overseas can leave Normandy vulnerable, while a weak landing force can be isolated before the asedio begins. Do not split the fleet into unsupported crossings. If the beachhead is under pressure, reinforce it from a protected route or withdraw to regroup rather than continuing to feed unidades into the defense. (desencadenador, fortaleza, Mangana)
