Resumen

A three-step armor research line available to supported infantería, caballería, and arquero unidades. The matching armor technology increases protection against its listed damage class, but the affected unit roster depends on the upgrade and civilization.

How this system affects decisions

Armor changes the damage a unit takes; it does not make the unit universally durable. Compare the incoming ataque type and the defender’s relevant armor value, then account for daño adicional, range, reload, and movement. The same unit may comerciar efficiently against one opponent and poorly against another because its clases de armadura y contras differ. (ataque, precisión, ataque, comerciar)

Cómo usar esta referencia

Treat Scale, Cadena, and Plate as separate steps in a civilization’s upgrade tree. Confirm the required Age and Herrero access, then check which unidades gain each armor value. Research an upgrade when it protects the army you plan to field, rather than assuming every infantería, caballería, or arquero receives the same benefit. (unidades, recursos)
