Plan and execution
Collect the nearby Relic, then withdraw the exposed Calabria force toward Sicily instead of defending an isolated base. Use the island’s recursos to establish a Castillo and protect the eastern shore from ships; place defenses to cover both sides of the strait. Send the starting Knights along the Italian coast to secure the southern Relic before enemy Monks reach it. Grow the economía and asedio production, and fortaleza answers ready for Rams and Cab. Risks and adaptation
Sicily is defensible but resource-limited. An oversized acuartelar may leave too little for the Maravilla or repairs, while enemy ships can threaten the eastern shore and later asedio can break static defenses.
