Overview

Traders travel between Markets and neutral Trade Posts or allied markets to bring back resources. A longer safe route can improve returns, but exposes the traders for longer.

Use in play

Scout the route and place defenses or army patrols where raids can intercept traders.

Routes and risk

A Trader travels between a Market and an eligible neutral or allied destination, then returns with resources based on the route. A longer route can improve each completed trip, but also leaves the Trader exposed for longer. Scout the route and defend likely interception points before scaling the trade economy.
