How to Start

The Party Won't Stop is a discovery quest — it adds itself to your log when you stumble across it. Head to the south-west corner of the West Incursion Zone and listen for music coming from an apartment building. As you approach the music, the map marker "Singing Reported?" appears and the quest activates.

Before going in, clear out the Mold enemies gathered around the apartment in the western corner. You'll know you're in the right place: the building glows violet through its windows, and a body lies outside the entrance. The front door is locked from the inside, so the only way in is through the rooftop — which means you need the Shift ability first.

It's worth tackling this quest the moment you have Shift, since the rewards — an artifact and a cosmetic — are useful early, and the missable trophy demands a perfect performance.

Walkthrough

Getting Onto the Roof

Stand on the street opposite the building and activate Shift. Climb upward, turn right past the enemies on the ledges, and cross over to the next rooftop heading north-west until you reach a checkpoint. From there, jump across to the rooftop of the western building, go through the blue door, and head down the stairs. That brings you into the apartment where the music is coming from — a room washed in purple and pink light, full of civilians labeled "Exhausted Dancers."

The Karaoke Machine

The dancers are being forced to keep dancing by an Altered karaoke machine that won't let them stop or rest. Dylan has to step up to the machine and sing along, choosing the correct lyrics to break its hold.

The rule of thumb is simple: pick the word or phrase that rhymes with the machine's last word. There are nine lyric picks in order:

  1. Gasoline
  2. Stress
  3. So fleeting
  4. Too long
  5. Move
  6. Fear
  7. Everything
  8. Higher and higher
  9. Shout

The machine runs on a timer for each pick. Choosing the wrong lyric — or letting the timer run out — kills one of the dancers on the spot. Keep the rhymes right and keep moving, and the machine's grip breaks without anyone dying.

If you're unsure on a pick, listen to the machine's final word before choosing — the correct answer almost always echoes it. Don't rush: reading the options calmly beats guessing, since a single wrong pick can cost you the missable trophy.

Rewards

  • Untapped Bar Blade artifact.
  • Varsity Jacket cosmetic.

Missable Trophy: Be What You Want To Be

The trophy Be What You Want To Be is missable: it's only awarded if all nine lyrics are chosen correctly and every partygoer survives the song. The artifact and jacket rewards are yours regardless of how many dancers make it, but the trophy demands a perfect run — so pick your rhymes carefully.
