Giant Bog Lizards

This book urges great caution crossing the Vale's marshlands, where a novel breed of creature has settled — from the sea's depths, some say, or from Hell's. It is like nothing seen before: a giant lizard, or perhaps a small dragon.

The lucky few who returned describe a muck-caked monstrosity stinking of death and rot, teeth keener than saw blades, talons poised to rip apart whatever bars its path — be certain of this: the lizard is a predator, not harmless game — it preys on deer, wolf, bear and man alike, and its armoured skin resists piercing. A reckless traveller will not survive the encounter.
