A Report about the Excavations
This report, signed Riquin, describes a journey south into the Silts to find the mentioned excavation site.
Everyone there works on Lady Xanthe's orders. An old service acquaintance among the officers grew anxious
at the writer's presence and urged him to leave; pressed with reminders of shared service and a life once saved,
the officer seemed about to confide more when a Blood Guard curtly drove the writer off.
The conclusion: the Lady schemes at something the other vrakhiri likely know nothing of —
and the advice is to drop it and let their betters sort it out.
