Pouch of Ember - Minecraft Dungeons II Artifact

The Pouch of Ember is a Mage artifact in Minecraft Dungeons II that you throw on the ground to spread a fierce fire around yourself. You will be too hot to handle — anything that gets close burns.

Effect and cost

The pouch costs 40 souls with a 5-second cooldown. The fire ring punishes enemies that surround you, turning being swarmed from a problem into an opportunity. It is a zone-denial tool: drop it at a doorway, around an objective, or right under your feet when mobs close in, and let the flames do the work.

When to use it

Use the Pouch of Ember when enemies insist on fighting you up close. Melee builds that dive into packs get a burning aura that softens everything around them, and squishier builds can drop it as a deterrent while they reposition. It pairs with other fire gear — the Blaze Bangle for fire-infused melee, the Flaming Quiver for burning arrows, or the Fire Aspect enchantment — for a full inferno loadout.

How to get it

The Pouch of Ember drops in Singer's Meadow and Humbler Huskland, or as a quest reward. Its siblings work the same way at the same cost: the Pouch of Frost, the Pouch of Poison and the Pouch of Thunder.
