Charred

The Charred is a fire-imbued hostile enemy in Minecraft Dungeons II with 42 health and a melee attack dealing 12 fire damage. It is a straightforward bruiser: no ranged attacks, no tricks, just a heavy fire-flavored swing delivered at 300 movement speed with 28 poise.
The 12-fire top hit is the number to respect. That is more than double the damage of most early-game melee mobs, so trading blows without a plan will drain your healing fast. Its slow speed is the opening: at 300 it is easy to outmaneuver, and its 28 poise means consistent hits will stagger it out of its swings.
Its weakness profile rewards preparation: weak to blast damage (+50%) and frost damage (+25%), but resistant to fire damage (-25%). Fire weapons are nearly useless against it, which is thematically appropriate; bring frost or blast damage instead and the fight becomes comfortable.
The mob page does not name a spawn region for the Charred, so its exact hunting grounds are unlisted. The Creeper and Charged Creeper are fellow blast-weak hostiles to compare tactics with, and the Copper Cube is another elemental bruiser worth studying before you take the Charred on.
