Minecraft Dungeons II Screenshot Gallery

All seven official screenshots, described shot by shot. Together they sketch the game's visual identity: cyan soul-energy combat, environments that swing from glowing caverns to icy canyons to bright villages, and a co-op framing that keeps four heroes in view.
Party and combat
01 — The party at Soul Cove
Four heroes in distinct equipment pose together on a stone platform that juts over glowing water, the surface filled with drifting soul particles. The cavern around them glows with the same light. This is the classic four-player co-op framing — four different loadouts, one party, the signature blue-green soul glow of the sequel's world. For the moving version of this energy, see the Minecraft Dungeons II Trailers.
02 — Soul-swirl combat, top-down
The isometric combat view: a hero channels wide, sweeping arcs of cyan soul energy against a pack of mobs, spirit forms drifting nearby through the blast. This shot shows what the game's fights look like at a glance — area attacks with a distinct visual signature, the camera pulled back to keep the whole brawl readable.
The world
03 — Soul mobs in the night garden
Soul-infused skeletons glow cyan, trailing arcs of soul energy as they move through a bed of white flowers at night. Darkness plus luminescence is one of the game's recurring moods — the soul saturation made visible. The enemies here read as corrupted versions of familiar Minecraft foes, which is the soul-corruption premise rendered in a single frame.
04 — The icy canyon region
A goat stands on a bridge in an icy canyon region: red rock walls, hanging blue icicles, a frozen fall. The contrast — warm red stone against cold blue ice — is one of the sequel's bolder biome looks, and it matches the icy canyon described in The Sift. Official caption material marks this as a Sift-adjacent environment.
Town and heroes
05 — The village bridge
Two heroes in matching gear cross a bridge over a stream in a bright village, while a villager in red watches from the bank. This is the town-hub side of the game — a living settlement rather than a menu — and it pairs naturally with the Brave Haven page, which covers the merchants, the Enchant Smith, and the blacksmith who live there.
06 — The glowing chicken companion
A hero walks behind a glowing chicken companion through a snow-dusted fortress gate, a campfire burning beyond. The chicken is consistent with the Twisted Chicken pre-order bonus pet — a glowing companion picked up in the launch window. Pets follow rather than fight, but they are part of the game's visual charm.
07 — The cape at the waterfall bay
A hero seen from behind wears a cape printed with a bone motif, looking out over a torch-lit waterfall bay. Capes are the edition cosmetics made visible: the Deluxe edition's soul cape and the pre-order Twisted Cape are the headline examples. The bone-print design here ties the cosmetic to the Sift's skeletal aesthetic.
How to read these images
Three patterns run through the set:
- Party/combat shots (01–02) sell the four-player co-op framing and the soul-energy visual signature that defines the sequel's fights.
- World shots (03–04) sell environment variety — soul-saturated darkness on one hand, a bold icy canyon on the other — consistent with the biome spread across the Overworld and The Sift.
- Town/hero shots (05–07) sell the village hub, a pet, and a cape cosmetic — the between-mission life and the personalization layer.
The set was current as of launch; new DLC (the first pack is dated for winter 2026) will likely bring new screenshots.
