Technical Details: Performance, Engine and Platform Features

Beyond the PC spec table (see Minecraft Dungeons II PC Requirements), here are the technical facts that matter in practice: how the game performs, how big the download is, what engine it runs on, and what the Xbox ecosystem adds.
Performance
Mojang published no official frame-rate targets, but launch-day testing gives the picture: around 60 fps at roughly 1080p docked on Switch 2, and 80-90 fps at 1080p High on the ROG Ally X. The Steam Deck became playable after Mojang's October 1 update, though issues remained (including a missing on-screen keyboard) with full verification still pending.
Download size and engine
Nintendo estimates 6.8 GB for the Switch and Switch 2 versions (pre-release figure); PC, Xbox and PlayStation sizes were not published. The game runs on Unreal Engine — not the Bedrock engine — though the exact version is unpublished.
Xbox ecosystem features
On Xbox and PC, the game supports Xbox Play Anywhere (one purchase covers both), cloud gaming, and Smart Delivery. Achievements are supported on Xbox as well as Steam (32 achievements) and PlayStation (trophies). See Minecraft Dungeons II Platforms for the full platform list and Minecraft Dungeons II Multiplayer Guide for crossplay details.
