Brave Haven Walkthrough

Brave Haven is the hub town of Gameplay Overview and the heart of the Overworld. It replaces the camp from the first Minecraft Dungeons and serves as your respawn point, your shopping district, and your upgrade workshop. Unlike the old camp, there are no missions to return from — you come back to meet merchants, upgrade weapons, reset between adventures, and hop the minecart network to other regions. This walkthrough covers what to do first and how each facility works.
What to do first
When you first arrive, take stock of the town. Talk to the merchants to see their stock, check the upgrade facilities, and activate the local Minecart Station so you can return instantly later. Since merchants sell for emeralds and level up for better stock, it pays to sell unwanted gear early: every emerald you feed the economy pushes merchant levels up and improves what they offer on future visits.
Merchants
Brave Haven's merchants trade in emeralds and carry better inventory as they level up. Keep a habit of checking their stock between expeditions — a merchant who levels up while you are away can suddenly have gear worth buying. Sell the loot you do not need, and save your emeralds for pieces that fit your Best Builds rather than spending on marginal upgrades.
Blacksmith
The Blacksmith raises gear power for a fee and re-rolls equipment buffs on your weapons and armor. If a favorite weapon drops with the wrong modifiers, the Blacksmith can re-roll them instead of forcing you to wait for another drop — this makes upgrading existing favorites often smarter than gambling on new ones. Fees scale, so prioritize the weapon you will actually take into hard fights.
Enchantsmith and enchanting
The Enchantsmith applies enchantments that you unlock from Enchant Books found during adventures. Soul Corrupted enemies drop the currency used for Minecraft Dungeons II Enchanting Guide, so farm them when you are short. Enchanting costs Echo Shards plus enchantment points, with higher rarities granting more points; the Enchanter's level caps the enchantment tiers it can apply. Disenchanting is free and returns all spent points, though it does not refund the Echo Shards.
Minecart network and fast travel
Brave Haven connects to the surrounding regions through the Minecart network, which acts as fast travel across the Overworld map. Teleport Statues serve the same purpose in the field. Always activate stations as you explore so every region — Howling Woods Walkthrough, Rainy Plains Walkthrough, and beyond — stays one ride away.
Tips
- There is no reason to linger in town without a goal: upgrade, shop, then head back out.
- Level merchants by trading regularly; their stock improves with each level.
- Re-roll bad modifiers at the Blacksmith before farming replacements.
- Use Brave Haven as a rally point for Minecraft Dungeons II Multiplayer Guide parties — respawn, regroup, and ride the minecart out together.
