Alchemist Overcoat

The Alchemist Overcoat is the torso piece of the Alchemist set, a four-piece unique Sorcerer set designed for the Mage archetype. This old overcoat channels extra power into every artifact you carry, and it appears as the unique roll of the standard Sorcerer Robe — any Sorcerer Robe drop has a chance to surface as this unique variant. It carries the set's Light weight rating and the standard base health shared by all armor, so its value comes entirely from the unique effect.

That effect is aimed squarely at artifact builds: attacks made with artifacts deal 25% more damage. For mages who lean on damaging artifacts as a core part of their rotation, this is a flat multiplier on a major damage source, and it stacks naturally with other artifact- and cooldown-focused choices.

Farming the overcoat means clearing the Frozen Highlands and Ravines, the two regions tied to the Alchemist set. There is no fixed chest for it; as a random unique roll, it simply requires repeated Sorcerer Robe drops in those areas.

The rest of the set rounds out the same playstyle. The Alchemist Top Hat expands positive status effect areas by 55% for support-minded mages, the Alchemist Trousers restore 6% of max health whenever an artifact is activated, and the Alchemist Loafers raise Soul capacity by 50% for soul builds. Together they form a cohesive Mage kit for players who want artifacts doing the heavy lifting. The overcoat is not ranked on the tier list yet, making it an untested but promising option for artifact-heavy loadouts.
