Alchemist Top Hat

The Alchemist Top Hat is the head piece of the Alchemist set, a four-piece unique Sorcerer set built for the Mage archetype. This tall old top hat — said to cast a long shadow when its wearer heals or shields allies — drops as the unique roll of the regular Sorcerer Hat, so any Sorcerer Hat drop can emerge as this unique variant. It shares the set's Light weight rating and the same base health as all armor, with the unique effect doing all the work.

That effect supports team play and self-sustain alike: the area of all positive status effects grows by 55%. Wider healing zones, broader shields, and larger buffs make this the natural helmet for support-oriented mages and anyone running beneficial auras in co-op. Even solo, a larger effect radius means less precise positioning to stay inside your own buffs.

Acquisition follows the usual Alchemist pattern. Farm the Frozen Highlands and Ravines, the two regions where the set drops, and keep an eye on Sorcerer Hat drops — each one can roll into the Top Hat.

The sibling pieces push the same Mage identity in different directions: the Alchemist Overcoat adds 25% damage to artifact attacks, the Alchemist Trousers restore 6% of max health on every artifact activation, and the Alchemist Loafers expand Soul capacity by 50%. Worn together, the set rewards a mage who supports the team while artifacts do the damage. The Top Hat is not ranked on the tier list yet, so it remains an untested option for healers and support builds.
