Greatsword

The Greatsword is a heavy blade built around one dramatic move: a single sweeping swing that strikes three times, covering a wide arc. At 18 damage per hit it is not the strongest per strike, but the 54-damage combo hits everything around you — and in a game full of crowds, that matters.
Testing measured roughly 352 damage per second with basic attacks and Lightning Surge, earning the Greatsword an A tier ranking. Its spin is the standout trait: few melee weapons match its area coverage, making it a natural crowd-clearer. The tradeoff is single-target damage — without a wave-style enchantment to extend its reach into damage, it can feel blunt against lone tough enemies. With 50 stagger, 900 knockback, and 4 blocks of reach, it also controls space well.
The Greatsword drops in Brave Haven, Honeycomb Fields, and Singer's Meadow.
It suits Fighter and Tank builds that want to wade into packs and spin. Through enchanting, wave or area-expanding effects like Chain Reaction shore up its single-target weakness. For a harder-hitting two-swing alternative, the Greataxe deals more per hit; for a unique longsword with frost synergy, the Frostbiter is worth a look.
