Overview

Archipelago’s chain of islands creates several sea routes and frequent coastal pressure, so vision and naval positioning shape where armies can land.

Plan and execution

Scout adjacent islands and sea lanes before selecting a landing. Use warships to cover the transport route, then send a force that can secure a shore and protect the workers or production that follow. Maintain a safe fishing area while looking for alternate crossings.

Risks and adaptation

A fleet focused on one lane may miss a second route, and an unsupported landing can be pushed back into the sea. Keep transports behind the screen and preserve enough home defense to deter a counter-landing.
