Overview

Early rushes mainly threaten Villagers and gathering time. A measured response protects workers while keeping the economy moving.

Plan and execution

Use terrain, Houses, walls, and gates to close the gaps an attacker can use. Garrison only workers in immediate danger, then send others back to work; use a Watch Tower or your own units when they can protect an important area. If you have a clear numbers or health advantage, focus weakened attackers rather than scattering Villagers.

Risks and adaptation

Town Bell can pull too many workers from useful tasks if danger is local. Towers also need safe spacing and support; scout alternate gaps, avoid fighting under enemy fire, and relocate gatherers when the position cannot be held.
