Overview

Son of the Sun has two threats that become dangerous at different times: Quemuenchatocha in the northwest and the Spanish expedition from the northeast. Use the opening to prepare before the later phase creates pressure from both directions.

Plan and execution

Stabilize Nemequene’s base and build the force needed to contain Quemuenchatocha before triggering or inviting the Spanish phase. Preserve any Priestesses carried over from the prior mission and use them to support the opening army. Once the expedition arrives, move decisively: prevent one enemy from building a large force while the other keeps your army occupied, and prioritize the objective that most directly reduces simultaneous pressure.

Risks and adaptation

On Legendary, lower starting resources and stronger second-phase attacks leave less room for a slow boom. Do not spend the opening force in scattered raids, and avoid allowing Quemuenchatocha to mass while the army is committed to Quesada.
