The Amazones turns food into a mission timer: the army consumes supplies over time, and starving units begin taking damage. Search both riverbanks and split into groups so multiple supply sites can be reached.
Plan and execution
Land on the southern shore and secure the first village’s food, then scout across the Amazon for additional supply points. Use both Transport Ships to move separate groups when the routes are safe, and keep a fighting detachment with each expedition. Collect supplies before taking optional fights, then regroup around the routes needed to pass the Amazones and complete the objective.
Risks and adaptation
A larger surviving army consumes food faster, so do not drag the full force through long detours. The starting shore alone cannot provide enough supplies; plan crossings early and prevent either transport from being trapped.
