Transitioning after water control
Winning control of the water is a platform for safer fishing and coastal pressure, but land objectives still decide many matches.

Overview
Winning control of the water is a platform for safer fishing and coastal pressure, but land objectives still decide many matches.
Plan and execution
Protect fishing income, scout coastal access, and choose a land transition that complements the water advantage: defend a landing, raid exposed shores, or spend the economic lead on land production. Coordinate ships and army so each covers the other’s approach.
Risks and adaptation
A fleet can be expensive if the opponent changes to land pressure or abandons the shoreline. Keep enough land defense, watch transport routes, and stop adding ships when control is secure.
Decision example
Once the fleet has secured fishing and transport lanes, count the extra food and decide which land unit can use it. Scout a landing site, build production where reinforcements can arrive, and keep enough ships to protect the crossing. Do not continue adding warships simply because the Dock is idle; the opponent may shift to a land attack. If the shoreline has no useful target, turn the naval lead into age-up, economy, or land army instead.
