Resumen

Lautaro begins the final uprising with a weakened force outside Santiago. Rebuild the economía, persuade the Mapuches tribes to join through a Carro de reliquias delivery or military pressure, then assemble enough asedio support to destroy Valdivia’s Castles and Fuerte de maderas. (Mapuches)

Player approach

The mission has a demanding economic buildup before the Castles can be taken. Mapuches allies begin neutral and may be recruited by delivering the Carro de reliquias or reaching the scenario’s required number of Españoles defeats. The alliance route adds support, while the asedio still requires a strong economía and an army that can screen the assault weapons. (Mapuches, Carro de reliquias, Españoles)

Step-by-step plan

Expand Aldeano production and secure the approach before choosing an alliance method. For the Carro de reliquias, scout the southeastern route, draw Españoles patrols away with Lautaro or caballería, and clear the Portón de madera while the carreta remains protected. If using the military condition, track the required kill count and avoid losing troops to upgraded patrols. After the Mapuches join, use their force to control the field while the economía funds asedio unidades and a protected push on the Castles and Fuerte de maderas. (Carro de reliquias, Portón de madera, Mapuches)

Risks and adjustments

Españoles patrols field heavily upgraded troops, making an unescorted carreta or a weak asedio push costly. Do not spend the whole economía on asedio unidades without enough mobile troops to protect them. If the route is contested, pause the carreta and clear one patrullar at a time rather than attempting to fight the entire force together. (Españoles, unidades, Carro de reliquias)

Focused strategy página

The Mapuches alliance plan compares the Carro de reliquias and military routes, then explains how to turn the new support into a successful asedio. (A Taste of Freedom Mapuches alliance plan)
