Mercenaries and Masters escape and monasterio rules
The first task is escape, not defending every unit. Cavaliers and Condottieri can move quickly, while the Artillero manuals lag behind. Resumen
The first task is escape, not defending every unit. Cavaliers and Condottieri can move quickly, while the Artillero manuals lag behind. Monasteries are protected mission objects and must remain intact. After reaching the southern camp, use the recurring Visconti tributo to rebuild a focused army. (Mercenaries and Masters)
Plan and execution
Lead the Cavaliers and Condottieri along the escape route, avoiding delays to retrieve the slower Artillero manuals. Fortaleza asedio and area attacks away from Monasteries. Rely on Visconti’s tributes as the main income, and destroy Lombard Markets only when additional recursos are needed. After securing the mercenary camp, build a counterforce such as Cavaliers supported by Artillero manuals. Leave a small acuartelar at home while preparing to join Piccinino’s final assault. (recursos, fortaleza, acuartelar)
Risks and adaptation
Destroying even one Monasterio causes defeat, so avoid careless asedio targeting and explosive damage near them. Tributo may pause between payments; retain a reserve rather than spending every resource immediately. If the escape force becomes separated, prioritize getting a surviving mobile group to the camp. (Monasterio, fortaleza, edificios, Tributo, recursos)
