GUIDE · BATTLE STRATEGY
The Battle of the Frigidus Relic opening
This Edad de los Castillos battle gives the player room to prepare: the enemy does not ataque until provoked, and the límite de población is 120. Use that breathing space to secure both Reliquias and assemble a focused army, while keeping an eye on the allied center and the wider three-front fight. Resumen
This Edad de los Castillos battle gives the player room to prepare: the enemy does not ataque until provoked, and the límite de población is 120. Use that breathing space to secure both Reliquias and assemble a focused army, while keeping an eye on the allied center and the wider three-front fight. Plan and execution
Send a Monje across the river early to claim the nearby Relic, then secure the second one near the Eastern Roman base. Bringing both to safety unlocks Movilización and improves the Godos’ production. Train Spearmen to blunt Arbogast’s Knights, add Crossbowmen against Throwing Axemen, and use Long Swordsmen with Arietes to break fortified positions. Apply pressure on the Western Romanos so their army cannot freely overwhelm the allied line. (Monje, Reliquias, Movilización, fortaleza, Godos, Romanos)
Risks and adaptation
Edad Imperial is unavailable, so do not plan around late-game upgrades or unidades. The 120-population cap makes an unfocused mix costly; choose unidades that answer the threats you actually face. Avoid provoking attacks before the Relic and counter-unit plan is ready, and support the allied center before launching an todo-in assault. (Edad Imperial, desencadenador, fortaleza)
