When to research
Research when Villagers or eligible Villager-upgraded units will remain exposed long enough to benefit from the added durability and combat utility. The effect does not apply to every military unit, so check the unit’s upgrade category before counting the secondary bonus. A 120 Food investment can wait if the army needs immediate production.
