Scenario overview

Keep the Fortress of Safed standing through a siege, gathering stone for repairs before striking at the besieging force.

Mission objectives

• Keep the Fortress of Safed from falling during the siege.
• Gather stone at four outcroppings so the Fortress can be repaired.
• Once the stone route is complete, stop the bombardment and defeat the besieging force.

Optional objectives

• Escort all Villagers safely and quickly for the Conqueror challenge.

Battle plan

Safed is a siege-defense mission for the Knights Templar. The Fortress takes continuing bombardment while Villagers travel between stone outcroppings; the gathered stone supports repairs, and losing every Villager ends the mission. Protect the workers during each leg, then move quickly against the siege engines when the final assault begins. The medal is based on the Fortress’s remaining health.
