A sacred valley lies between two mountains, with secrets and treasures behind tree lines.
Terrain and layout
Two large mountain ranges enclose a sacred central valley, with forested routes concealing the approaches. Starting areas occupy depressions beside the valley, and gaps through the terrain determine access.
Resources and control
Most large Gold and Stone deposits lie on elevated ground in alternating lines beside the valley. The valley itself is comparatively sparse, with some Wood, food, and smaller mineral deposits; Trade Posts and Sacred Sites draw players toward the contested middle.
Player considerations
Scout the entrances and secure an approach to the elevated deposits before exposing workers. A wall can protect one route, but the narrow valley means a force may be vulnerable if it advances without checking the tree-lined exits.
