Chef Hat

Chef Hat is a Common cosmetic hat for Bongo Cat, featuring the classic tall white toque of a professional chef. Like all hats, it is equipped from the inventory and appears on the cat while it bongs along with keyboard, mouse, or controller input.

How to obtain

The Chef Hat drops from chests at the Common rate of 90%, so it arrives very early in any player's collection — chests drop roughly every 30 minutes after 1,000 bongo beats. It is tradeable on the Steam Community Market, and extra copies can be spent in the 10:1 exchange chain.

Gameplay notes

There is also a Rare Chef Hat Large, a bigger version of the same toque for players who want a more dramatic look. This entry covers the Common version, which remains available and is purely decorative.
