Faction identity and CS2 role
The Professionals are described as high-tech, well-equipped thieves who work for money rather than a political or religious cause. Their presentation draws on the image of an organized robbery crew: formal waistcoats and tailored clothing appear alongside dark trousers, sunglasses, masks and money bags. Several characters look like specialists assembled for one elaborate job, while the repeated Sir Bloody Darryl identities place one flamboyant leader at the center of the group.
In Counter-Strike 2, the Professional is one of the Terrorist factions represented through agent models. The base match still has Terrorists and Counter-Terrorists, and an agent selection changes the player’s character presentation rather than their side’s objective. On a Bomb Defusal map, the Terrorists still carry out the C4 objective; on a Hostage Rescue map, the Terrorist side still opposes the rescue. Agent choice does not change weapon purchases, money, grenade capacity or round rules. See Terrorists and Agent Models.
CS2’s default factions are Phoenix Connexion for Terrorists and SAS for Counter-Terrorists across maps, with agent selections providing alternate models. That differs from earlier map-based faction assignments. The Professional roster is therefore a cosmetic identity selected for the Terrorist side, not a map-specific force that appears only at a particular location.
Named Professional agents
The roster contains ten named CS2 agents across three item-quality levels. Five Master items present alternative masks and outfits for Sir Bloody Darryl. They are separate selectable agent items, but they represent the same fictional crew leader rather than five different people or gameplay classes. Their profile voice and humor portray him as cocky and flippant even when a job turns dangerous. The design variations give players different looks while retaining the same central character identity.
Bloody Darryl The Strapped depicts the leader earlier in his career, before the Sir Bloody persona associated with his Master variants. His place in the roster links the crew’s present leader to a less polished past without making him a separate faction. This is useful context when comparing the names: the shared Darryl identity matters more than the different title and outfit.
Safecracker Voltzmann is the crew’s technical safe specialist. Her profile emphasizes eccentric behavior and concentration on the job, contrasting the controlled work of opening a vault with Darryl’s performative banter. Number K is a private heist manager and acquisition specialist whose application is comically unusual, while his practical skill with handguns supports his place in the crew. Both profiles frame their roles through the fictional robbery organization rather than through distinct CS2 combat abilities.
Little Kev is a quiet heavy-weapons specialist and Sir Bloody Darryl’s younger brother. His profile calls attention to his strength and his place as the leader’s bodyguard and personnel manager. Getaway Sally is an improvisational escape specialist associated with confined routes and close quarters. Her characterization rounds out the heist theme by focusing on how the crew gets away after the job. These descriptions provide flavor for the models; they do not give Little Kev a heavier weapon or Sally a faster movement speed in a match.
Agent quality, voice and presentation
The five Sir Bloody Darryl variants are Master quality. Bloody Darryl The Strapped, Safecracker Voltzmann and Number K are Superior. Little Kev and Getaway Sally are Exceptional. Quality is an item classification, not a combat tier: selecting a Master agent does not improve armor, reduce damage or provide a stronger weapon.
Agents can have voice lines associated with their character. Master agents have additional unique voice lines and a cheer shown at the end of a match, while their shared faction role remains the same. The Professional faction’s voice credits include Garfield Maitland and Ben Prendergast for Bloody Darryl. Character dialogue helps differentiate the cast and reinforce the personalities attached to each model.
Visual details such as masks, sunglasses, waistcoats, equipment bags and individual tattoos distinguish the characters. These are cosmetic elements in the CS2 agent roster. Players should select the agent for appearance and character presentation, not treat the profile’s fictional job title as an in-game ability.
History and availability
The Professional faction first appeared in the August 10, 2012 Counter-Strike update associated with Global Offensive. The later agent roster, including the named heist characters, was introduced with Operation Broken Fang. Those dates describe the faction’s history across the series and the origin of its agent items; they do not mean the earlier operation is currently active in CS2.
Current access to an agent is a separate inventory question from the faction’s place in CS2. A character can remain part of the game’s item catalogue even when the operation that introduced it has ended. Acquisition and market availability can change, so this entry does not present every Professional agent as a current operation reward. Check the in-game Inventory and current Steam item listing for an individual item’s availability.
The maintained faction article includes map appearances and historical trivia from other Counter-Strike editions. This page keeps the CS2 identity, roster, quality and profile information while leaving earlier map-specific faction placements out. CS2’s agent system means a Professional model can be selected on the Terrorist side without restoring those older map-based assignments.
Gameplay scope
Professional agents do not receive faction-specific gameplay powers. A Sir Bloody Darryl model does not plant faster, Voltzmann does not open anything faster, Little Kev does not carry more ammunition and Getaway Sally does not move more quickly. The game mode, player’s team and selected weapon determine the round’s rules. Cosmetic model selection is separate from Economy, Buy Menu, Loadout and the objective pages.
When comparing agents, use their exact item names and item quality. Do not confuse the Professional faction with professional Counter-Strike players or tournaments; the word “Professional” here names a fictional Terrorist faction. This entry covers the CS2 faction and its agents only, not teams, esports leagues or the unrelated uses of that common word.
