Team objectives
The Terrorist objective depends on the scenario. In Bomb Defusal, a Terrorist can carry the C4 Explosive to either bombsite, plant it and protect the site until detonation. The team can also win by eliminating every Counter-Terrorist before a plant. If C4 has already been planted, the round remains live until it detonates or the Counter-Terrorists defuse it.
In Hostage Rescue, Terrorists defend the hostages and the routes to the rescue zone. They win if the timer expires before a rescue or if they eliminate all Counter-Terrorists. The task is to interrupt the extraction rather than to pursue a planted-objective timer. This difference is why map, position and utility choices depend on the scenario.
CS2 equipment & factions
CS2 side-specific firearms include the Glock-18 and Tec-9 pistols, MAC-10 submachine gun, Sawed-Off shotgun, AK-47, Galil AR and SG 553 rifles, and the G3SG1 sniper rifle. These are the Terrorist-only options in the CS2 weapon roster; the team can also buy weapons shared with Counter-Terrorists. The Molotov is the Terrorist incendiary grenade. C4 is assigned as an objective item rather than bought through the normal weapon selection.
CS2 Terrorist agent factions include Elite Crew, Guerrilla Warfare, Phoenix Connexion, Professional and Sabre. Factions and agent models identify the side visually; they do not change its bomb or hostage objectives, weapon rules or combat statistics. Shared CS2 firearms include the Dual Berettas, P250, CZ75-Auto, Desert Eagle, R8 Revolver, MP7, MP5-SD, UMP-45, P90, PP-Bizon, Nova, XM1014, M249, Negev, SSG 08 and AWP. The HE Grenade, Flashbang, Smoke Grenade and Decoy Grenade are shared utility choices.
Playing the Terrorist side
In Bomb Defusal, coordinate who carries C4 and which site the team will pressure. A Smoke Grenade can block a defensive sightline, while a Flashbang can help an entry cross an exposed angle. Keep a route for the bomb carrier and teammates to trade if the first player is stopped.
In Hostage Rescue, hold likely approaches to the hostages or rescue zone and respond to the escort rather than abandoning the objective. Team elimination can still win the round, but a fight that lets a carrier reach the exit can lose it. The Terrorist role is therefore defined by the scenario's win condition, not just by its weapon list.
