Damage and shot timing

The P250 costs $300 and deals 38 base damage. Its page property table records 151 unarmored and 96 armored head damage, 47/30 to the abdomen and pelvis, 37/24 to chest and arms, and 28 to the legs. The table is not separately labeled by edition, so these are presented as the Wiki’s listed hitbox figures alongside—rather than in place of—the explicitly CS2-labeled ammunition record. Armor changes the result substantially, and accuracy matters more than firing as quickly as the pistol permits.

The P250 is semi-automatic, with a 13-round magazine and 39 reserve rounds. The Wiki advises against spraying except at very close range: time individual shots so accuracy can recover and make the small reserve last. The 14-metre accurate-range field indicates where deliberate pistol shots are useful, while the 0.90 range modifier means damage falls with distance. Its 2.2-second reload should be started from cover.

Pistol rounds and economy choices

The P250 is purchasable by both teams and can give a Terrorist a stronger paid alternative to the free Glock-18 in a pistol round. A player may instead preserve money for armor or utility. On later rounds, the relatively low $300 cost can suit a player who wants a more damaging sidearm without spending on a Desert Eagle. The $300 Competitive and $150 Casual kill rewards are listed separately in the CS2 record.

Its role changes with opponent protection. The source describes it as effective against armored opponents, but a headshot result depends on the listed armor damage and range. Do not treat an unarmored target’s damage outcome as universal. Compare the Desert Eagle for higher single-shot damage, Tec-9 for a Terrorist high-capacity pistol and Five-SeveN for the Counter-Terrorist alternative.

CS2 reload behavior

The March 18, 2026 CS2 ammunition update means that a completed P250 reload discards rounds still loaded and takes a full magazine from reserve. The HUD displays reserve magazine count and the current magazine’s fill level. With 39 reserve rounds, a player should consider ammunition before replacing a partly filled 13-round magazine.
