Coin progression

The May 21, 2026 update describes the Coin as upgradable. A purchased Viewer Pass grants it, and an active pass links Pick’Em participation to Coin upgrades and rewards. The Coin is distinct from the pass: the pass enables the documented activity, while the Coin is the event item whose state can be upgraded through that activity.

The update does not list Coin tiers, the number of successful predictions needed for each upgrade or a completion reward table. Those values are not supplied here. For the event’s other functions, see Cologne 2026 Pick’Em Challenge and Cologne 2026 Viewer Pass.

May 21, 2026 IEM Cologne Major update

The Cologne 2026 Coin was the event collectible granted by purchasing the Cologne 2026 Viewer Pass. The May 21, 2026 CS2 update described it as upgradable: a player with an active pass could upgrade the Coin and earn rewards by taking part in the Pick’Em Challenge.

The Coin therefore linked pass ownership with event participation. The update does not list Coin grades, the number of predictions required for each upgrade, or the specific reward table. Those details should not be inferred from Coins issued for other CS2 tournaments. See Cologne 2026 Viewer Pass and Cologne 2026 Pick’Em Challenge.

The Coin belongs specifically to IEM Cologne 2026 and its dated CS2 Hub. Its acquisition and upgrade flow should be read as an event feature, not as a permanent Profile Rank or Service Medal progression system.
