Pass-linked predictions
Players with an active Cologne 2026 Viewer Pass can earn rewards by playing Pick’Em and upgrade the Cologne 2026 Coin. The same pass makes the player visible on the Active Pass Leaderboard, which compares Pick’Em performance with friends. These links make Pick’Em the activity connecting the pass, Coin progression and event leaderboard.
The scoped May 21 update does not enumerate prediction stages, team-selection windows, scoring thresholds or how many correct choices are needed for a Coin upgrade. Those rules are not inferred from earlier Major formats. See Cologne 2026 Viewer Pass for the pass condition and Cologne 2026 Coin for the associated event item.
May 21, 2026 IEM Cologne Major update
The Cologne 2026 Pick’Em Challenge was available from the IEM Cologne 2026 Major Hub. The May 21, 2026 update said that players with an active Viewer Pass could play the challenge to earn rewards and upgrade the associated Cologne 2026 Coin.
The Active Pass Leaderboard let pass holders compare Pick’Em performance with friends. The patch confirms this social comparison feature but does not specify prediction scoring, tie handling, stages, deadlines or the number of correct selections required for rewards. Those mechanics should be taken from the live event interface rather than supplied from another tournament’s Pick’Em.
Pick’Em participation is distinct from playing a matchmaking mode: it is an event activity tied to tournament outcomes and the Cologne 2026 pass. See Viewer Pass and Coin for the connected event items.
