Hub, Viewer Pass and Pick’Em
The Hub opened on May 21, 2026. The update connected the Viewer Pass to an upgradeable Cologne 2026 Coin and pass-linked Pick’Em rewards. With an active pass, players could enter the Active Pass Leaderboard to compare Pick’Em performance with friends. The Hub therefore grouped event participation and item redemption in the CS2 interface; it was not a change to Premier rating, match rules or round equipment.
The Cologne 2026 Coin, Viewer Pass and Pick’Em Challenge are separate but linked entries. The pass enables the documented rewards and leaderboard participation, the Coin is the upgradeable event item, and Pick’Em is the activity associated with earning those upgrades and rewards. The May 21 notes do not provide tier requirements, scoring rules or the full event schedule, so those details are not inferred here.
Major Shop and sticker pricing
The May 21 Major Shop revision let players obtain any sticker directly at a price shaped by demand. Players purchase tokens and redeem them for a chosen sticker. When a sticker is bought frequently, its token price rises while prices for other stickers fall. If a sticker’s price drops by more than 25 tokens within 24 hours after purchase, the update says the difference is refunded in tokens. The system therefore ties the displayed price to shop activity instead of assigning one permanent token price to every sticker.
On May 28, CS2 added sticker bookmarking in the Cologne Shop. On June 11, the shop began displaying the lowest and highest sticker prices over the preceding seven days; the Hub tile also gained a sticker showcase on the main menu. These are dated interface changes that help players browse offers and compare recent price movement. The June update also added an error message for a full inventory when redeeming items from the Major Shop cart.
Custom Souvenir crafting
The May 21 update also allowed a player to craft a custom Souvenir in the Major Shop. The player selects a normal-quality or Souvenir-quality weapon from inventory, a completed match and one player from that match. The selected weapon is returned in Souvenir quality with gold team, autograph and map stickers applied. This connects the event shop to Souvenir item presentation and completed-match records; it is distinct from buying an ordinary sticker directly. The update does not describe crafting with an uncompleted match or a player absent from the selected match.
Dated event scope
This entry records the Cologne 2026 CS2 Hub and its May 21, May 28 and June 11 interface changes. Shop prices and the Hub’s active offers are time-dependent, so the historical system description should not be read as a claim that the same shop remains open or that a past price is current. The linked pass, Coin and Pick’Em pages separate each item or activity from the overall event interface.
May 21, 2026 IEM Cologne Major update
IEM Cologne 2026 received a dedicated Major Hub in Counter-Strike 2. The May 21, 2026 update described the hub as the place to access tournament items, the Pick’Em Challenge and related event features. This page groups the event systems together while separating the Viewer Pass, Coin, Pick’Em and shop mechanics into their own entries.
The same update redesigned the Major Shop. Stickers could be obtained directly at demand-set prices, using tokens purchased and redeemed for a selected design. Prices moved relative to demand: frequent purchases raised a sticker’s price while other sticker prices fell. A purchase also received a token refund for the full difference if that sticker’s price dropped by more than 25 tokens within 24 hours.
The update also introduced custom Souvenir crafting. A player could choose a normal or Souvenir-quality weapon from inventory, a completed match and one player from that match. The selected weapon was returned as a Souvenir with gold team, autograph and map stickers. Existing Souvenir attributes were removed if a Souvenir-quality item was later used in a Trade Up Contract; the contract produced a normal-quality result one grade higher.
These features are tied to IEM Cologne 2026 and the dated CS2 event implementation. The patch describes their launch behavior but does not establish that the Hub, pass, tokens or shop remain available after the event. Check the current CS2 interface for live event availability.
